As Health and Community Wellness Director, Christel Phillip, brings her nursing expertise and community spirit to Shara Foundation’s work in Grenada. Her role helps strengthen our health initiatives and community outreach, ensuring that children and families receive vital support with both care and compassion.
Bio
Christel Phillip, a Grenadian native, is an accomplished healthcare professional with a solid educational foundation and extensive experience in nursing. She began her academic journey at the Vendome Primary school where she passed the Secondary School Entrance Exam. She then transitioned to the Boca Secondary School from 1994-2000, where she attained seven CXC passes. She went on to pursue higher studies at the TA Marryshow Community college from 2000 to 2002, earning an Associate Degree in Office Arts.
In pursuit of her passion for healthcare, Ms. Phillip Rouse enrolled at the T.A. Marryshow Community College (TAMCC) School of Professional Studies, completing an Associate Degree in General Nursing in 2014. Her professional career in nursing began in August 2016 as a Nursing Assistant, a role she held until June 2019. Since then, she has served as a Registered Nurse, providing quality care with dedication and compassion.
Ms. Phillip’s professional interests include elder care, patient advocacy, and continuous personal and professional development within the nursing field.
