As Local Initiatives Director for Shara Foundation, Rockel Allard plays a key role in overseeing on-the-ground operations in Grenada, ensuring that children and communities receive essential support.
Bio
Rockel Allard serves as Shara Foundation’s Local Initiatives Director in Grenada, where she oversees on-the-ground efforts that bring vital programs and services to children and communities. From coordinating package collections and delivering presentations to assisting with program implementation, Rockel plays a central role in advancing Shara Foundation’s mission locally.
She has contributed directly to the Cycle of Empowerment: Menstrual Health Initiative, teaching sessions during the pilot program in collaboration with Days for Girls. She also visits residential Homes for children, providing support and encouragement to some of Grenada’s most vulnerable youth. As the owner of Rokel’s Tasty Treats, Rockel generously donates baked goods to children in residential care and continues to extend this generosity across multiple Homes.
Rockel’s background in hospitality and food service has equipped her with strong organizational and interpersonal skills. She earned a certificate from T.A. Marryshow Community College (TAMCC) and completed her studies in Food and Nutrition at Westerhall Secondary School. In addition, she has received training in baking, cooking, and food and beverage service through programs with YMCA and Sandals Grenada Resort & Spa.
