Bio

Born and raised in Grenada, Racquel Forbes attended St. Louis RC Girls School, also known as Mother Rose School, before continuing her education at the Anglican High School. In 2004, she immigrated to the US to pursue her passion for social work. Racquel earned her Master's Degree in Social Work from Stony Brook University and now serves as a medical social worker at New York Presbyterian/Columbia Hospital, where she works closely with diverse populations.

During her high school years, Racquel aspired to become a social worker but lacked guidance on the path to achieve her dream. Recognizing the importance of career counselors in guiding young minds, she advocates for providing clearer pathways for students to pursue their dreams. Focused on helping others achieve their goals, Racquel is thrilled to contribute to the Shara Foundation, giving back to the youth of Grenada and providing them with the support she once sought.
